The video Evosta 3 troubleshooting show what they are and how they are displayed:
In the Evosta 3 instruction manual (also available in our DNA software) you can find all the information, including a table with the most common error codes:
E1 = check the presence of water in the pipes, degas
E2 = check that the rotor turns freely, manually unlock if necessary
E3 = switch off, wait 30 seconds and switch the board back on. If the fault is temporary the circulator should start again.
E4 = switch off, wait 30 seconds and switch the board back on. If the fault is temporary the circulator should start again.
E5 = wait 30 minutes without turning off the circulator. If the fault is temporary the circulator should start again.
DAB Evosta 3, are equipped with a vent plug and an automatic degassing function that is activated by holding the button for 3 seconds. Within a minute all the air inside the circulator come out. The automatic air venting of Evosta 3 shows the procedure:
For manual venting mode, first set the maximum constant speed, then unscrew the vent plug to let all the air inside the circulator come out. Degassing is an important and necessary operation that must be performed during the first installation and at the start of the circulator after a prolonged stop time. The video air venting Evosta 3 shows the procedure to follow:
It seems that the engine of the Evosta 3 circulator is blocked ...
If the Evosta 3 circulator, not completely degassed, remained still with water inside for a long period of time, for example a few months (the period may vary depending on the hardness of the water used in the system), limescale may form inside that can determine the block in the rotation of the motor, highlighted by the relative error shown on the display (code E2). In these cases it is possible to try to unlock the shaft by removing the vent plug and acting with a screwdriver on the shaft, as shown in the manual Evosta 3 engine unlocking video:
This phenomenon occurs if the circulator contains air. It is of the paramount importance to proceed with the degassing to avoid the presence of air bubbles that can lead to the formation of limestone inside the circulator.
DAB Evosta 3 is equipped with a vent plug which allows the circulator to be degassed. It is important to let the air out to optimize the functioning of the circulator and to prevent the formation of limestone which, in the case of prolonged stops, can block the shaft. We recommend that you perform the venting procedure also at the first installation. The Evosta 3 vent video shows the procedure to follow:
